Antichrist: Part II
Could Nostradamus have prophesized a third antichrist? If so, is the time of his coming almost upon us? In the first part of “The coming of the Antichrist” we discussed the possibility of a world leader from the last decade. We discussed whether Mabus was the antichrist himself, or merely a catalyst for the antichrist to rise. The results were inconclusive.
So we must broaden our search and taking the lead of Nostradamus it seems apparent our search for the forthcoming antichrist is in the Middle East.
Out of the country of Greater Arabia
Shall be born a strong master of Mohammed,
He will enter Europe wearing a blue turban.
He will be the terror of mankind.
Never more horror.
There are several strong candidates that fit the bill. Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the Palestine National Authority for example can be considered a prime candidate to spark of a third world war and the emergence of an antichrist. Perhaps he is Mabus who Nostradamus’ predicts “..will soon die.”
Mahmoud Abbas can be deciphered as Mabus using anagram codes and given that Palestine is in a volatile position and poorly protected against stronger forces, Abbas would be left exposed should a full-scale war break out with Isreal. However, Nostradamus doesn’t mention Palestine or their principle enemy, Israel in his prophecies, but instead indicates the antichrist will come from elsewhere.
Century 3 Quatrain 27
The Libyan Prince will be powerful in the West,
the French will become so inflamed of Arabs,
learned in letters he will agree
to translate the Arab language into French
The reference to a ‘Libyan Prince’ can only lead to speculation about one of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi’s four sons. The strongest candidate is the heir apparent, Saif Al-Islam, a well educated diplomat with a name that means “Sword of Islam.”
As Nostradamus indicates, the “Prince” will be highly educated (“learned in letters”) and will be influential in France. Saif Al-Islam is fluent in French, English and German. He has a B.Sc in Engineering Libya’s top University as well as being educated in the London School of Economics.
His talent for diplomacy and negotiations were highlighted during his role in the release of western hostages and considered westernised, Saif has influential friends in politics and finance, including Nathaniel Rothschild and Lord Mandelson. He also mediated in the sale of arms to France.
Yet taking into consideration Saif Al-Islam seemingly good nature, high education and portrayal as a peacemaker, why would anyone earmark him as an antichrist? The answer could lie in some of Nostradamus’ other quatrains that indicate the invasion of southern Europe and the destruction of France. Could the friendly approach by the Libyan Prince predicted in Quatrain 3.26 above merely be the lull before the storm before “Vengeance will soon be revealed,” as mentioned in the ‘Mabus’ quatrain of 2.62.
Century 2 Quatrain 29
The Easterner will leave his seat,
To pass the Apennine mountains to see Gaul:
He will transpire the sky, the waters and the snow,
And everyone will be struck with his rod.
Century 9 Quatrain 44
Leave, leave Geneva every last one of you,
Saturn will be converted from gold to iron,
Raypoz will exterminate all who oppose him,
Before the coming the sky will show signs.
The two quatrains above indicate the bringer of evil will travel from somewhere in the East and leave a wake of destruction across Italy and Switzerland before arriving in France. And matters get worse as Nostradamus predicts Muslim forces advance into France and demolish every village, suburb and city in their path.
Century 2 Quatrain 4
From Monaco as far as Sicily
All the coast demolished and desolate
There shall not be any more suburb, city, nor village
That the Muslim invaders shall leave undone
Yet despite the speculation linking Saif Al-Islam as the antichrist there is nothing in the quatrains that link the Libyan Prince as the antichrist. Nor has Saif Al-Islam been deciphered as Mabus. So could it be that the demon will spring from elsewhere in the Middle East? Many decoders believe so.
Century 3 Quatrain 99
In the grassy fields of Alein and Varneigne
Upon Mount Lebron near Durance
Conflict between two sides shall be very fierce
Mesopotamie shall fall on French soil
Though the Frenchman predicts Muslims will eventually fall in his motherland, the mention of Mesopotamia can only mean the invaders come from the region that is now Iraq and Iran.
Many commentators look towards the current Iranian leader, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as the antichrist, though some theorists look beyond the frontman and seek out the monster in the shadows.
Muslim cleric Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi is the spiritual adviser to the President, and, some commentators consider, the true leader of Iran. That his name is pronounced Maybah adds to suspicions he could be the Mabus Nostradamus talks about in quatrain 2.62.
Renowned for taking a hardline, it was Mesbah Yazdi who called for Iran to build nuclear weapons and oversees the uranium enrichment program. After rigging the election to ensure Ahmadinejad’s success he cracked down on protestors by using extreme force. Considered a practitioner for violence he adopted the nickname, Professor Crocodile.
Mesbah Yazdi has also been influential in packing the Assembly of Experts with loyalists and is thought to have ambitions of replacing Ali Khamenei as Supreme Leader thus putting him into a position of power from where he could instigate worldwide destruction. Look out for him wearing a blue turban!
We have presented some modern day candidates for the anti-christ according to the predictions of Nostradamus, but it is impossible to see exactly. We have learned that new candidates previously unseen can appear almost out of nowhere and the effects of these unknown unknowns can be potent.
