Bible Prophecies: The Third Bowl of Revelation
The tragedies inflicted upon mankind as prophesied by the Apostle John in the book of revelation makes for even worse reading by the time the angel pours the third bowl on to Earth. Having seen the seas and oceans polluted by the contents of the second bowl killing all living creatures, God turns his attention to the rivers and springs where all fresh water fish perish along with the sea creatures.
“Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters saying: “You are righteous, O Lord, the One who is and who was and who is to be, because You have judged these things.” (Revelation 16.4)
The grim reading suggests there will be no food source available in a vestry of water on the planet, and given that land animals are already predicted to have perished when the trumpets sounded and floods wash away the crops, the threat of famine grows ever worse.
Third World countries such as Africa and parts of Asia and South America have been fighting the problem of famine for decades and despite relentless aid work, the problem persists. If anything it is getting worse rather than better. Official statistics published by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization record 925 million people face the threat of famine around the world 875 million in 1969 when records began.
When you consider the world in which we live today with our technology, industry, knowledge and resources of agriculture, you have to ask yourself how is it possible that the world continues to struggle with a food shortage. Of course, the population growth is significantly more today than it was in 1969, but is it not the responsibility of World leaders to ensure the crop growth meets the growth of the countries citizens.
A prime example of government failure can be found in 1965 when India suffered its worse food crisis in history. In 1964, it harvested 88 million tonnes of wheat which fell short of the necessary requirement and left thousands of people starving, yet the following year it managed only 77 million. Did the government leaders not learn from the previous year´s mistake or did they just ignore the problem? Or is it perhaps the governments are engineering conditions on Earth to ensure the supposed prophesies written in the bible and by the likes of Nostradamus come true. As King Charles II once remarked, Kings are like “little Gods on Earth.”
For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink, for it is their just due.” And I heard another from the altar saying, “Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.” (Revelation 16:5)
On the Georgia Monument in Georgia, USA, it is carved in stone that to maintain order on Earth the population must be kept under 500,000 people. The current population is approaching 7 billion. That means, according to the stone carving that 6.5 billion people must perish. The quickest way to do that is to starve us all to death.
Nostradamus also predicted worldwide famine and as a result man would become savage beasts grabbing “roots from trees and children from the breast.” The quatrain below conjures up a sickening image which in the present world seems unavoidable.
Century 1, Quatrain 67
The great famine which I sense approaching
Will often turn (up in various areas) then become worldwide.
It will be so vast and long-lasting that (they) will grab
Roots from the trees and children from the breast.
The devastating floods that destroyed crops in major agricultural countries such as Australia, China and Pakistan in 2011 caused a dramatic shortfall food production which hiked up prices of stable foods like rice, grain and sugar to prices the poor are struggling to meet. Even families in developed countries cut back on their food bills due to a rise in fuel prices and an increase in unemployment.
So where does this leave us all. The official statistics make for grim reading and we read in the papers every day of other areas in the world hit by floods, droughts, famines and war. Could it be the End Times predicted in the book of Revelation and by prophets like Nostradamus are coming true, and could it also be true that our world leaders are allowing it to happen because prophecy says it must?!
