Doomsday Predictions: Earth Will Lose its Magnetic Shield
Century 5 Quatrain 32
Where all is good, the Sun all beneficial and the Moon
Is abundant, its ruin approaches:
From the sky it advances to change your fortune.
In the same state as the seventh rock.
Nostradamus’ quatrain in century 5 above seems to point towards earth drastically changing temperatures that equal those of Uranus, the coldest planet in our Solar System. Scientists have known for some time that the Earth’s magnetic field is fading and is thought to be the cause of birds falling out of the sky.
Birds use the earth’s magnetic field for navigation and the unusual events of bird deaths are thought to be linked with the imbalance of earth’s protective crust that will leave parts of the planet vulnerable to increased harm from space. A 30% anomaly has been discovered in the South of Brazil.
In 2008, NASA reported a massive breach in the Earth’s Magnetic Shield, which was detected by the spacecraft, Themis. Enormous geomagnetic storms can easily be caused when solar winds break through this breach and it is very possible that such geomagnetic storms directly caused the deaths of the numerous birds across the globe.
Such geomagnetic storms would cause a massive cooling of the Planet, which according to Nostradamus may leave earth with temperatures as low as -355 degrees Fahrenheit, like those on Uranus. The worrying thing is that scientists at a meeting of the American Geophysical Union in San Francisco said: “It is not a matter of whether it will happen, but when.”
The Earth’s magnetic field prevents the planet from harm caused by cosmic rays. It deflects most of them and keeps them from reaching the earth. In the last 150 years scientists have measured a 10% decline in the dipole. The flip side of the argument is that if Earth does lose its electromagnetic field the planet will be affected by increased radiation from the sun which will burn up the planet. This theory conflicts the message given by Nostradamus in the quatrain above, though the great prophet does appear to also predict global warming.
Century 2 Quatrain 3
Because of the solar heat on the sea
From Negrepont the fishes half cooked:
The inhabitants will come to cut them,
When food will fail in Rhodes and Genoa.
Also, at the current rate of decline it would take 1,500 to 2,000 years for the electromagnetic field to deteriorate enough for mankind to be put at risk. It is also known that the Earth’s invisible shield has the strength to grow back. By studying seafloor sediment and lava flows, scientists can reconstruct the patterns of the magnetic field. Research shows it was last at a critical level some 78,000 years ago.
The likelihood then that the electromagnetic field will deteriorate to dangerous levels before the end 2012 is unlikely though its decline could cause the earth to flip long before it fries or freezes us all. Which leads us to another end of the world theory – the precession.
Of course, some theories about 2012 are not so catastrophic in terms of the destruction of the planet, but say that a burst of radiation from the sun could wipe out communication systems. This in itself however would mean an economic catastrophe which would could cause banks to lose financial data, IT systems to collapse and the loss of mobile phones. Watch the Youtube video below to hear what physicist Dr Michio Kaku has to say about it.
Make sure you have plenty of spare cash safely stashed in your homes in the event of another economic meltdown. And buy some higher factor suncream.
